Razin Group Holding s.a.l. was originally founded in 1956 by the Ayoubi family, under the name of ADC - Arab Development Company - and operated in principal areas of industrial specialization that include carrying out geological and geophysical investigations, hydro geological surveys, water well drilling and land development.

ADC, a regional leading company in water well drilling, eventually evolved and formed partnerships to form the Engineering and Development Company which thereafter amicably divided onto itself and gave birth to Razin Group Holding s.a.l. founded in Beirut , Lebanon by its initial owners; the Ayoubi family; Tarif Al Ayoubi, Razin's Chairman, and Nizar Al Ayoubi, Razin's Chief Executive Officer.

Throughout the years of operation with previous partners, and before venturing out as independent competitors in the international arena, Razin's founders invested their invaluable resources to build a solid network of operations throughout most of the Middle East and North African region (MENA), whereby they had been able to actively assist in the development of business interests of the many international companies with whom they had previously established and maintained solid working relationships over the years.
