Iran Ofogh Industrial Development Company—IOID was established in 1991 in Iran, as an entirely private company to take part in the oil, gas and petrochemical development projects in anticipation of direct participation by international companies. Today IOID is one of the few private Iranian companies to take equity partnership in upstream projects, in partnership with international companies, to capitalize on business opportunities in Iran.
